It is official...Demetri broke the 1200 gram mark, he weighs 1207 grams. We are thinking that he will get the chance to move to a bassinet sometime this week. Today he took both full bottles and the volume of his feedings has been increased to 24 mL.They are drawing blood from him tonight in order to rerun tests. They are checking to see if his CBC is still shifted, how his electrolytes are now that he is off of the sodium chloride supplements, and check a blood gas on his oxygen.
What a cutie pie! Hope he keeps beefing it up and gets to come out soon. Thanks for the daily updates so we can keep track of the little guy......makes it easier when we cannot be there. Love you all and miss you....Derek, Shannon and Lily
